Scott is a low key but very friendly dog. Dog and people and kid friendly.

Good with cats? unknown, will not be adopted to a home with a cat

Activity Preference: Low maintenance overall but needs quality outside time.

Scott's favorite things: Scott thrives and desires attention from people. He will chew a bone or antler for a little while but I have not found a toy he cares about yet. He loves being pet and having his belly rubbed. He loves food and will hop up onto you if your holding his food bowl or a treat this is why he may knock down a small kid. But friendly to all people. Scott loves a leash walk but he pulls and does pull less in a harness but needs leash work. He is house trained and crate trained and sleeps all night in crate without messes. He is a fantastic dog. Whoever adopts Scott will have a amazing companion.

Health issues: No known health issues. Is gaining weight as he needs to. Scott just requires the monthly heartworm preventive that all dogs should have.

Meet Scott

Scott was found as a stray and is now fostering with American Bulldog Rescue. He was found with some back leg wounds that are healing nicely and he has been recently neutered. Scott is dog friendly with his foster brothers and dogs we have met but he has no desire to play with other dogs. Scott loves human attention. He will wag his tail if I just walk by him. Scott loves dog cookies and saltine crackers. He quickly eats his meals and is eating 2 larger meals with a snack at the moment to gain weight. Once filled in he will eat 2 good size meals and some treats. Scott would make a great family dog but would be a wonderful companion to a older person or single person as well. He is house trained as well as crate trained and was amazing when given a bath. If your looking for a smaller bulldog who is very friendly and easy going then Scott is the guy for you. He is also so so handsome.
